How many roses do you need?

On average a single rose is enough to create multiple smaller pieces such as charms, keychains or a half bracelet.  Full bracelets, necklaces and rosaries require at least 2-3 roses for each piece.  Flowers like mini rosebuds or sunflowers have smaller petals so those would require more flowers in order to create larger items, such as a rosary.

How do we mail our flowers to you?

All flowers used to bead with must be dried for a MINIMUM of two (2) months. Preferably petals removed individually and dried on a flat surface or hung dried upside down in a dry area. The leaves or any greenery can be left on the flower. Once dried, you would remove the flower head and leaves, place in a Ziploc bag, write your first and last name on the bag and placed inside a bubble wrapped envelope for shipping.  Address where to ship will be provided on your invoice upon payment.  It is highly recommended you mail your flowers with a tracking number so that you can receive updates on when the flowers will be delivered here.

If you are located in Chicago, you may follow the same instructions as above and contact us for drop off arrangements.

Why do we have to wait 2 months to dry the flowers?

The flowers that will be used must be completely dried, wet/moist petals can form mold and will not be able to be used in order to create your keepsake.  It is best to let them dry as long as possible so that there are no mold issues.

What if I didn't save any leaves?

No worries, we can still create a beautiful item without any leaves or greenery from the flower.  If you like and with your approval, we do have on hand extra dried leaves to add that spark of green in a bead.

What if I don't have any roses to mail/drop-off, but I would like to order a piece, can I still place an order?

Yes, not a problem, we are able to fulfill your request as we do keep a small selection of dried roses on hand.  Please note that you will not have the option to select what color rose/flower will be used and will leave that up to Como La Flor Crafts to select based on availability.

How long will it take to process my order?

The process usually takes about 4-6 weeks from when the order is placed to when its shipped out or ready for pickup.  Longer wait times can occur when waiting on flowers to arrive here.  I recommend always sending your package of flowers with a tracking number so you can track delivery.  As with many businesses we did have longer wait times due to the pandemic and supply shortages.  I always try my best to communicate any issues with the clients in case it takes longer than expected.
